Court dealt blow to Georgia citizens, not plaintiffs’ lawyer

Brad Houck responds to the Fulton County Daily Report’s article, “Court Upholds ER Standards”. “The first sentence of your March 16 article, “Court upholds ER standards,” reads that the Supreme Court dealt a blow to “plaintiff’s lawyers.” I cringe whenever I hear the media pit doctors against lawyers on tort reform issues. Trial attorneys are fighting these issues for families who will unfortunately be the victims of malpractice next year and the year after.
